Вчера молодежь открыла сезон, надрав долбаков из Таронты 5:2. Основной лагерь открывается 17-го числа, 20-го нас ждет первая игра против фарм-клуба - Тампы. Календарь предсезонки: Baby and rookies: vs Toronto - 5:2 vs Florida - 2:5 vs Ottawa - 3:1 Среди долбаков хвалят Джеффри и Велью. Лучший наверное наш проспект Капути не играл с травмой бедра. Основная команда начинает завтра с тренировки и двухсторонок. Penguins 20.09 vs Tampa Bay 22.09 at Tampa Bay 24.09 vs Toronto 26.09 at Toronto 02.10 vs Jokerit |

Orpik ducks Therrien shot Defenseman Brooks Orpik said coach Michel Therrien almost hit him with a golf ball during a team outing Monday. Not intentionally, though. "We got a good laugh out of it," Orpik said. The relationship between the two isn't as bad as many portrayed it to be, Orpik added, and was not a factor in deciding whether to re-sign with the team. "I don't know how much I gotta really say: I signed a six-year contract, and he signed a three-year contract, so obviously it wasn't that big of a hurdle. We have a good working relationship. I think we have a really good mutual respect for each other." |

трейнинг кемп открылся вот че пишут Practice Session Report: Day 2 Wednesday, September 17th, 2008 by Inside Pittsburgh Sports News Wire In-depth Analysis of the 1st session The first set of drills centered around some puck moving drills which went into 2-on-1’s with shots from the point. The skating ability of Ruslan Fedotenko was exceptional today. Fedotenko has started out camp on a line with Max Talbot and Matt Cooke. Fedotenko playing in a third line role is a perfect fit for him. Crosby was flying from the start. You could really tell he was working on his shot during the summer. He went hard in every drill. 1 on 1's This was a tough drill for defenseman like Daryl Sydor who are slow footed. Sydor struggled mightily and had a tough draw going up against Crosby twice. Nick Johnson used his size and reach very well in this drill. Alex Goligoski was 2-for-2 against Sidney Crosby 3 on 3's down low Crosby's line went up against Talbot's line. This was a very intense drill with a lot of physical play. Mark Letestu is a gritty player down low and stood out in this drill The Penguins then worked on some 3 on 1's and 3 on 2's. Talbot's line looked very good in this drill. Kris Beech didn't look too bad. I was told he was in the weight room all summer and added some muscle. He was playing a little more physical then I’m use to seeing from him but he still lacks the speed needed for him to be successful in the NHL Lines Dupuis – Crosby – Satan Fedotenko – Talbot – Cooke Stone – Beech – Godard Veilleux – Letestu – Johnson Minard – Jeffrey – Wallace D-Pairings Gonchar – Orpik Sydor – Goligoski Richmond – Lovejoy |

Что-то от всего я отвык за лето и много чего забыл... Помню только: были мы в финале Кубка Стэнли, что само по себе является воспоминанием далеко не самым плохим )) Скоро сезон, очень скоро даже - так что пора спешно втягиваться в хоккей!

и тренька черных The First practice session featured the Black team The team first worked on some 3-on-0’s to warm up the goalies The next drill was all about the forwards catching the puck off the boards. This is a good drill for wingers. Janne Pesonen showed some acceleration in this drill The next drill was very similar where the forward would catch a pass off the boards and go down the ice and pull-up and hit the trailer. Defenseman Kris Letang looked good in this drill. He has improved his shot compared to last year and his release is quicker. Jordan Staal was skating very well in today's practice. He is shooting with confidence and has his head up the entire time. Last year he was shooting with his head down way too often and that’s what goalies want. What Staal needs to improve is catching a hard pass on his backhand Paul Bissonnette played some D in a few drills. Mike Yeo was working with him on his positioning at forward near the end of the practice 2-on-1’s Some notable plays from the 2-0n-1 drill was Jeff Taffe taking a hard pass from Evgeni malkin and hitting the post. Pierro-Zabotel looked very good in this drill. He made beautiful pass through an defenseman’s legs that hit Malkin in stride for a tap in goal. Janne Pesonen is more of playmaker than a goal scorer. He doesn’t have a very hard shot. He did have a solid practice. Made some plays but right now he just seems like a practice player. It is early One-on-One drill went to the defenseman. There were only about two occasions where a forward got the best of a defenseman. Those honors go to Evgeni Malkin against Kris Letang and Jeff Taffe against Joey Mormina Near the end of the practice the Penguins worked on a fore-check drill with the main emphasis on their positioning. Keeping an forward high and such. Looks like the Penguins were running a 1-2-2. The Final drill the Penguins worked on was a situation that started with a 3-on-1 that eventually led to a 3-on-2. I came away very disappointed with Jonathan Filewich today. There just didn’t seem to be any fire in him. He’s on the outside to make this team and he didn’t do anything in practice to garner any more consideration. During the 3-on-2 drill he missed two point blank chances to bury the puck. A borderline player like him has to make things happen in practice. The way Tyler Kennedy practiced last year is the main reason he bypassed Stone and Filewich on the depth chart |

Мужики я может туплю но я не пойму в чем прикол на офф сайте пингвинов 20 число игра с Тампой-сентябрь.На Виасате реклама 4-5 Октября,когда сезон начинаеться ?! =)И виасат транслировать будет,я так понял они там уже билеты продают =) |
